Patriot Tri-5 Ceramic Coated (H8025-1) 55-57 Chevy

The information below is compiled from Patriot's web site and from Chevytalk's 55-57 forum

The Patriot header uses longer 1 5/8” primary tubes, which results in more horsepower and torque when compared to tight tuck or block hugger styles.

These headers accommodate the popular GM 605 power steering box conversion or stock steering and can be used with most aftermarket motor and transmission mounts. Extra ground clearance makes “slammed” cars drivable and above frame rail exhaust system installation easy. Headers are provided with collector reducers, mounting hardware and installation instructions.

Part number H8025 comes with a raw finish for individual customizing or part number H8025-1 comes with a metallic ceramic coating for increased resistance to corrosion.

Notes:
Excellent ground clearance, does not hang below frame.
Will work with the 605 steering box.
Will not fit angle plug heads.
Will have to use a wrench on a couple of spark plugs.
Will work with glide mount but would fit a lot better with glide mounts removed
Pitman arm hits on hard turns. There are two stock pitman arms available for the tri-5's, part number 3719487 is the best for header clearance.
